First let me start with an apology for the pictures of me in this post. They are in no way flattering and I wasn't given any opportunity to re-do my make up after work or ask the photographer (my lovely boyfriend) to quit worrying about the mess and focus on hiding my hideous double chin c/o a few takeaways (whoops)
So yeah they're there to give you some sort of impression as to what the outfit actually looks like on :)
Wednesday's ootd mainly consisted of Select clothing. I've been going in there more and more recently as their stock is really on point right now and its really affordable too!
I was going for a smart/vintage/edgy vibe as I needed to look presentable for parent's night at work.
Jacket - £28 - I love the quilted details, it's all in the details!
Boots -  £20 - One of the comfiest pairs i've ever owned.
Dress - £15 - The vintage tea dress style and pattern are just so pretty.
Necklace - £6 - Who can resist a chunky chain?
Everything (other than the necklace) is available from their website http://www.selectfashion.co.uk/ and I bought all of these products from their Welling store.
Here's a rough idea what they look like on...

EEEEEEKKKKK!!! I'm such a happy girl :) For a little while now I have wanted the leopard print SPORTS boots from Kurt Geiger: http://www.kurtgeiger.com/women/shoes/boots/sport-tan-pony-37-kg-kurt-geiger-shoe.html  However my bank balance hasn't allowed me to buy them :(
Then a miracle happened and I had some money to burn! (Yay!) I didn't want to blow it all on the boots, no matter how beautiful they are, so I perused some sites and found some GORGEOUS bits and bobs (that i'll be blogging when they've all arrived) and then I FOUND THESE!
Apart from some slight differences they look VERY similar, and were only......
£25! (iiiiii know!) They're from Missguided and I love them for it, I ordered them Saturday and they arrived Monday,  so naturally I wore them today :P

They're AMAZING :) i had many compliments about them and they were pretty comfy considering I wore them all day! They're super classy and stylish. I wore them with all black everything and they really 'popped'. (Also, according to LOOK magazine leopard print ankle boots are IN ;))
My new fashion obsession!
After seeing the likes of RHW, Cara and Olivia Palermo wearing this B-E-A-U-tiful Burberry blanket/cardi/cape/poncho creation, I was hooked. I've alway loved anything huge, comfy and cosy in Autumn/Winter and this ticks all of those boxes :)
Unfortunately my bank balance does not in any way support the £900 price tag so it was time to hit the high street and get creative!
Whilst what I found isn't 'technically' a cape as it actually has arm spaces, it's near enough and baggy enough to be. I found this beauty in Primark and it was £14. It's got a Greek style/chevron pattern on it which is either grey or black.

As you can see, it's mahoosive! (That's how I like it!) The fact it does have sleeves means it stays in the right place too which is great for me. I know it makes me appear 10 sizes bigger than I already am but it's getting cold so I don't care. It's fairly thick and has a really nice feel to it too.
Perfect buy for chucking on with jeans and a tee and being effortlessly stylish.
Verdict: If you too love cosy, warm things, buy this!
