First of all I apologise to anyone that reads my blog regularly (if there is anyone!) for the lack of posting recently. I've been super busy and just not had much time.
However, today I decided to wear my fabulous printed jumper from:
http://alicetakesatrip.bigcartel.com/
I bought this in my super haul (see previous posts) and it's not been cold enough to wear, but I decided that I didn't care anymore and wore it anyway. I felt SUPER 80's in it, especially as I paired it with my fave ripped mom jeans. So I added a modern twist with my lion head necklace and leopard skate shoes. (I guess I ended up like a zoo...)
I also had a couple of statement rings on from New Look but you can't see them in the pictures! I finalized the look with a slick of BRIGHT pink lipstick from Toppers :)
Hope you like it!
Jess x

First let me start with an apology for the pictures of me in this post. They are in no way flattering and I wasn't given any opportunity to re-do my make up after work or ask the photographer (my lovely boyfriend) to quit worrying about the mess and focus on hiding my hideous double chin c/o a few takeaways (whoops)
So yeah they're there to give you some sort of impression as to what the outfit actually looks like on :)
Wednesday's ootd mainly consisted of Select clothing. I've been going in there more and more recently as their stock is really on point right now and its really affordable too!
I was going for a smart/vintage/edgy vibe as I needed to look presentable for parent's night at work.
Jacket - £28 - I love the quilted details, it's all in the details!
Boots -  £20 - One of the comfiest pairs i've ever owned.
Dress - £15 - The vintage tea dress style and pattern are just so pretty.
Necklace - £6 - Who can resist a chunky chain?
Everything (other than the necklace) is available from their website http://www.selectfashion.co.uk/ and I bought all of these products from their Welling store.
Here's a rough idea what they look like on...

Hey! So in case you didn't know, i'm a teacher... :) so workwear can be a bittt of nightmare as I don't want to wear things that will get ruined and it needs to all be fairly flexible and conservative!
It's taken a while but i'm getting somewhere with it. I have LOVED the past few concoctions that i've put together and I wanted to share them with you.

The dress was from 'Pink Rose' in Macy's. It's such a great fit and i'm thinking of putting a belt around next time (?) The bag - which will be featured in a post sooooon - is Steve Maddenm and the leggings and my shoes are all from good old Primark :)
OK so I totally loved this outfit. Rediscovered an old Primark blazer over the summer and put it to good use! It's such a lovely bronzey colour so it was the perfect excuse to pair it with my leopard print Primarni pumps :)
The top and jeans were also Primark, the jeans fit like a glove and are aaaaamazing.
So what do you all think? Am I going in the right direction or is this just not working at all?!

So this was todays OOTD.
It all came from good old Primarni and comes in at £20 if not less! The shoes were only £4 (I know right!) and so obviously I now have them in 3 colours :)
I wore this to work today knowing that I was going to be teaching a (albeit boring) gymnastics lesson, so I needed something easy to move and stretch in.
These printed pants are PERFECT! It's the nearest thing to being in PJ bottoms without actually BEING in PJ bottoms, they're glorious.
I thought the outfit was a bit boring on its own and needed a bit of bling so I added my Disney Couture bangle and owl necklace from New Look.
I would take lovely photos but I can't seem to find my camera/I have noone to take them for me :( So you'll have to make do with this rubbish for now.
This just makes me think I want a bob, but then I remember what that was like last time!

 xxx Jess

I realised that I haven't posted on here in a while but I've been indoors and looking like pondscum recently so I've not had too much to post about!
However today I actually had to leave the house so here's my #OOTD
 Top: Primark
 Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: Primark
Bag: Vintage (and no idea where it's from)

Phew! I've finally been able to relax this weekend :)
I've had a rather hectic weekend; after work on Friday I had an hour to be ready to get up to Brighton for a night out...Panic stations! (It was a nightmare, especially as my face just did not want to stop sweating.) This is what I ended up looking like, which tbh i'm quite proud of:
Tried to go for a dark red lip and live outside the box a little! (Barry M)
Also my flower crown is from http://instagram.com/summer_crown
After trawling the shops during the week I managed to find this little beauty to wear from New Look;
I absoloutely loveee it! It's super bright and summery whilst not being too short or see through :)
Really enjoyed my night out in Brighton and did a hell of a lot of dancing which equalled very sweaty hair! However it came in useful the next day when I went out to Crayford dogs as I just sprayed and scrunched!
My gorgeous top was from http://www.spoiledbrat.co.uk in the sale :)
Overall I had a super fun Friday and Saturday and today my bf managed to find this gem in a charity shop...
 Perfect!

A little while ago I wandered into Select after work, mainly because I had ages to wait for the bus; but also because I always think it looks nice in there. Anyway, I saw tonneeeees of bits in there that i LOVED unfortunately I only had limited funds so had to be choosy.
I ended up buying a maxi dress. Now, I don't reallllly do maxi dresses as i'm a shortie but this one fell at just the right point. Also, I don't really do pink even though it's one of my favourite colours! So this was a big deal.
After a few outings and compliments I've decided I really like this dress. I know my arms look huuuuge and it would look miles better without the tummy but I'm working on that!
 Dress - £16 - http://www.selectfashion.co.uk/clothing/s039-0403-28_coral.html

The sun was shining this morning and it was a beautiful day, so I thought I would be a bit floral :)
The best thing about this is that it was all a bargain!
Shoes: £8 Primark
Top: £2 Primark
Trousers: £11 Primark
Kimono: £16 Select
It was such a shame it had to rain on my parade (literally!)
