AHH! It's 2015 now. It'll take me a while to get used to that date. I'm sure everybody has New Years Resolutions that they may or may intend to keep! Here are mine:
I'm hoping that at the end of the year I can look back at these and tick them all off. :D
Originally I had no plans for New Years Eve but then my boyfriends family were going to a party at a hotel so we ended up going out which was very nice. I had the usual dilemma of what to wear and wanted to wear something with sequins but they just didn't look right on.
During the day i'd been told by a homeless man 'nice legs, shame about the face' so I decided to put a little extra effort in with my makeup!
Ever since watching Helen Anderson's Get ready with me earlier in the year, I have been addicted to Loreal's True Match minerals powder foundation in Golden Ivory. It goes on like a dream and matches my skin perfectly while lasting all day! I also ended up going for a red lip in the end.
I loved my outfit that I eventually decided on: (click on brand for link)

I loved wearing the outfit! The skirt was amazing on :)
I hope you all had an amazing new years eve and have a great start to 2015!

I'm back! Apologies for the abscence but I've made blogging into one of my New Years Resolutions so I promise to be better in 2015!
What better way to get back into the blogging spirit than a Christmas post? I had SUCH a good Crimbo and am now about a stone heavier due to turkey, roast tatties and chocolate...
Every year me, my little bro and my sister have our photos done around the Christmas tree, we get bored of posing nicely though so choas usually ensues.
Hopefully everyone had as merry a Christmas as I did and is looking forward to starting another year :)

Told you I'd be back! This was my OOTD yesterday. I've been DYING to wear my Rock on Ruby jumpers since I got them but it's just not been cold enough! So I bit the bullet anyway and wore one :)
On IG, R.O.R had asked for slogan suggestions for their Christmas jumpers range, as I had made a contribution they VERY kindly sent me a 10% off code, which, naturally, I used on their Christmas jumpers! I bought this one which reads 'The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway' and another amazeballs one which is 'Do you want to build a snowman?' (I'm saving this one for nearer crimbo!)
Not only do Rock on Ruby have a fun range of Xmas jumpers, but also a fantastic range of customizable slogan tees, bags, everything AND you can design your own if you have something in mind! They're super popular on IG and really good quality products.
The jumper is fleecy feeling inside so the cold really doesn't bother me in it! It's nice and baggy (I bought a large and it completely covers my bottom!) and I rolled the sleeves up for a bit of a 'cool' vibe.
I styled it with my mom jeans (which I hate NOT wearing although I look huge in them!) boyfriend's Fenchurch plimsolls as they were grey, some gold jewellery and (not in pics) a chunky black belt. I felt quite 80's/90's and also a massive geek which I loved!
Hope you like it and go and check Rock on Ruby out, i'll definitely be buying more from them in the future!

First of all I apologise to anyone that reads my blog regularly (if there is anyone!) for the lack of posting recently. I've been super busy and just not had much time.
However, today I decided to wear my fabulous printed jumper from:
http://alicetakesatrip.bigcartel.com/
I bought this in my super haul (see previous posts) and it's not been cold enough to wear, but I decided that I didn't care anymore and wore it anyway. I felt SUPER 80's in it, especially as I paired it with my fave ripped mom jeans. So I added a modern twist with my lion head necklace and leopard skate shoes. (I guess I ended up like a zoo...)
I also had a couple of statement rings on from New Look but you can't see them in the pictures! I finalized the look with a slick of BRIGHT pink lipstick from Toppers :)
Hope you like it!

  • Dress - Motel
  • Boots - Select
  • Bracelet and Choker - Depop (There are some great bits on there!)
  • Hamsa Necklace - Jenems
  • Ring (Part of a set) - New Look
Yay! I was so excited this morning when the post arrived as I knew my Motel dress had arrived! I had seen dress around IG a lot and I loved the print and the style so I decided to give it a go.
I paired it with ankle boots and would probably wear black tights out with this as it's quite short! I also continued the 90's style with the hair and accessories.
Going to be trying to get more photos of me IN the items now, we'll see how that goes...
Sometimes in life, you go into Primark for one thing. One thing in particular, for example, hair grips. You walk into the store and think 'there's no harm in browsing' and then that's it. You and your purse are no longer friends.
This very thing happened to me yesterday! I was distracted by a black longline blazer and BAM i'm down £50 before I know it...
I am however really glad I had a look around because I fell in love!
Aren't they just beautiful?! They look like the Vans ones but for a fraction of the price. I don't own shoes like this, but I needed these because of my love of all things leopard print :)
For this very same reason I ended up buying this little pretty. Again, I don't really own clutch bags but this baby is to die for AND it's roomy!

I should have known not to buy this shirt, but it was a gorgeous colour and I couldn't resist it. However once I got home and put it on, I remembered that shirts do not agree with my boobs and I think I may be taking it back which is an awful shame!

Then there was this baby. Now I LOVE Game of Thrones, i've read them all and seen the show and I just can't get enough. (I also really think i'm a Stark) So when I saw this I HAD to have it. No question about it. Ended up picking up the wrong size but it worked out just fine as it fits loose still :)

Finally I nabbed this longline blazer thing. It's not very structured but structured enough (though I might need to add a few stitches here and there as i'm not keen on the fit of the collar bit.) I saw this one - or one like it -  in MelonLady's haul and I loved it. Consequently I felt an overwhelming desire to buy my own!
I will be doing some blog posts featuring these over the month so keep posted.
I began following Jenems on IG a little while ago and I thought everything that they stocked was extremely pretty! I decided that I wanted pretty things in my life and so bought a few bits and bobs. I'd give it a go if you like gems, chokers, 90's style jewellery etc. Their website is: http://jenems.bigcartel.com

Along with my purchases they sent me a 10% discount code AND a raffle ticket for their raffle draw where you can win: A scrunchie, galaxy necklace, ring and choker.
P.S. The only reason I don't have a photo of me in the choker is...I have a chunky neck that it doesn't fit around :( Stupidly didn't measure it before I ordered but will try and find an extension for it.
P.P.S. I am really ill right now so the only makeup I have on is a Bourjois CC cream!
- Tartan scrunchie - £3 - Perfect for loose messy buns!
- Cross choker - £3 - Check your measurements...
- Hamsa necklace - £6 - Amazing! It's my little nod to Karou from the Daughter of smoke and bone trilogy :)
- Druzy ring in Rocket Blue - £4 - As it's adjustable, it fits my sausage fingers!

First let me start with an apology for the pictures of me in this post. They are in no way flattering and I wasn't given any opportunity to re-do my make up after work or ask the photographer (my lovely boyfriend) to quit worrying about the mess and focus on hiding my hideous double chin c/o a few takeaways (whoops)
So yeah they're there to give you some sort of impression as to what the outfit actually looks like on :)
Wednesday's ootd mainly consisted of Select clothing. I've been going in there more and more recently as their stock is really on point right now and its really affordable too!
I was going for a smart/vintage/edgy vibe as I needed to look presentable for parent's night at work.
Jacket - £28 - I love the quilted details, it's all in the details!
Boots -  £20 - One of the comfiest pairs i've ever owned.
Dress - £15 - The vintage tea dress style and pattern are just so pretty.
Necklace - £6 - Who can resist a chunky chain?
Everything (other than the necklace) is available from their website http://www.selectfashion.co.uk/ and I bought all of these products from their Welling store.
Here's a rough idea what they look like on...

First things first, I am sorting out the online haul post today, 100% So that will be up later :)
I HAD to show you this jumper though! On a wander through Bexleyheath I just happened to wander into River Island...upon entering I automatically drifted towards this little beaut.
 http://www.riverisland.com/women/knitwear/jumpers/Lime-mohair-stepped-hem-jumper-656750
It's just gorgeous. Being mohair it definitely feels gorgeous as well! The colour is reallllly vibrant and i've wanted something lime in my life and this is just perfect. I decided to take some pics in it as I don't think the one on the site does it any justice if i'm honest...(this was the first time using my camera's self timer so i'm a bit deer in the headlights haha)

As you can see, the colour really stands out (and also it's very see through!)
I think i'll be wearing mine with a vest underneath as i'm not very brave...
I've tried it with dark jeans and it's great, and I randomly decided to pair it with my light 'mom' jeans for a laugh but tucked in, it looks AMAZINGLY 90's so you may see that outfit in the future :)
During my time in America, I spent a fair amount of time in Macy's. I love it in there and there is SO much it's crazy! I knew I wanted a new bag (I have a cupboard of them but I can't help it, it's an addiction) and I came across the Steve Madden section in the bag department.
I originally fell for a more patent bag that I was considering buying, but I came back again and decided that I LOVED this tan baby. I saw it first in black but then there it was, the last one in tan, hanging just out of my reach, but I stretched and almost ended up balancing on my toes to get it and I knew it was love :) As if I wasn't already in love, there was also a RIDICULOUS sale on...and it went from $80 to $36!!! Craziness I know as that works out about £22~
So here is my baby, I will give it a break eventually but for the moment it works with everything so it's coming everywhere with me.

So there is really nothing to dislike about this bag! It's really slouchy, but if you do the zips up on the outside...it's more structured (such a good idea!) It has these GORGEOUS patterned barrels on the handles which just add a little something something and all the detailing is in gold. The Steve Madden label is inside and stands out against the grey and white stripes. I justtt I love this bag! Also, I bought these notes specifically to use when my boyfriend is being an arse telling me he's right, so they stay in the bag all the time :P
